Protecting Your Assets, Securing Your Future
Fieldstone Medicaid Planning is led by a Certified Medicaid Planner in Pennsylvania, based in Doylestown, Bucks County, who has worked on the facility side of Medicaid applications for families across Pennsylvania.
Meet John Keane, Certified Medicaid Planner in Pennsylvania
I’m John F. Keane, Jr., founder of Fieldstone Medicaid Planning. I’m a Certified Medicaid Planner (CMP™), and before I started this practice I owned and operated a nursing home and assisted living community.
That last part matters. I’ve sat on the facility side of Medicaid applications. I know what caseworkers ask for, where applications stall, and what it feels like for a family to find out in month four that something went wrong in month one. I started Fieldstone to be the advocate those families didn’t have.

What that means for your family
Facility-Side Experience
I owned and operated a nursing home, so I know how facilities, business offices and county caseworkers actually handle these files. That experience shapes how we approach Pennsylvania nursing home Medicaid applications.
Careful Documentation
The five-year lookback is a records problem before it is a rules problem. We reconstruct and document every account and transfer.
Straight Answers
What is a Certified Medicaid Planner?
A CMP™ is a professional who has met education and experience requirements, passed an examination in Medicaid planning rules, and agreed to professional standards and continuing education so their knowledge keeps pace with changing rules.
What we are, and what we are not
Fieldstone Medicaid Planning provides Medicaid planning and application services. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. When a family needs a deed, trust or other legal document, we work with an elder law attorney of your choosing.
